▮ While I don't practice exclusives, I do practice having mains. This simply means these are the people I'll turn to first and foremost when speaking of/referencing a particular muse, though I'm always up for interacting with doubles!

▮ However, Pendulumrisen is a major part of my girls' canons, both as their best friends and their ship partners. While they have their own lives to live and things they enjoy on their own, their roles in their lives in undeniable and they may come up in conversation occasionally just like they'd speak of their family or jobs, whether or not it's a ship verse. ▮ Howdy! I go by Lita and/or Pom, and I'm the mun here! I'm 21+ and usually near my computer, so I'm almost always about somewhere! My mun FC's Jaden/Judai Yuki, so if you're looking for my ooc posts, you'll find them marked with icons of him~!

I'm autistic and have made writing both my hobby and the thing I enjoy doing most often. Aside from that, I'm also a crafter and enjoy drawing,though writing is where my heart lies and has for most of my life. Her escape comes with hearing of the remnants lingering around the Standard dimension, her guard finally one who listens and follows her rather than stopping. Armed with her deck and bodyguard in Barret, Serena escapes to begin the fight of her life...

Ray is an active, warm girl, making friends easily wherever she goes and keeping herself busy as she possibly can. Rock climing, kart racing, dueling, shopping - You name it, she's probably doing it at any given time; why sit still when she can be doing something?

But constantly lingering in her mind is one duelist in particular: Zarc, a smug, stuck-up professional with a win record that puts even hers to shame. As much as she hates to admit it, he's become one of the driving forces for her to better herself, wanting to keep herself from being bested by him. Unfortunately, she has no idea just how tied togetheir their destinies are...

Appearance

Her hair is a dark pink, almost magenta color, and when allowed loose, falls to about mid-back. Despite so, she prefers to keep her hair tied up into pigtails topped with large, round, blue hair clips, the bottoms of which brush the tops of her shoulders. Framing her face are two smaller strands of lighter pink hair, also just touching the tops of her shoulders, while her bangs, starting about the center, sweep off to the side above her left eye with a small section hanging sllightly lower between her eyes. Her eyes are a rich shade of deep blue.

Most often, Yuzu can be found in her school uniform. Her wardrobe otherwise contains a wide selection of modest outfits, none of which are too revealing, but frequently of a short length about the same as her uniform. A well-fitting wardrobe is key to Yuzu, as well as staying on top of current trends, though she does prefer light colors most of the time.

Aside from her hair clips and a green musical note pin often attached to her uniform's collar, her main piece of jewelry she rarely ever takes off is her bracelet. Silver in color, it resembled two simple, thin bangles crossing over each other, bearing a simple silver flower where they cross on either side and a pink gem set into its center.

She can often be found with a duel disk strapped to her left arm.

Interests

Perhaps her biggest love outside of dueling is music, of which her tastes vary across a wide range. Her biggest musical love, however, is opera, enough so that her deck is based on its style and sound. Even though Yuzu can sing rather well and even play the piano better, she has no interest in following opera as a carrer and simply enjoys music as a whole. It's rather easy to find her with a music player on her person, to boot, using it as a focus aid during her dueltaining practices.

She also has a fondness for all things pink and cute, and while she won't make this known to just anyone, she can be spoted frequenting stores and restraunts with a 'cute' theme whenever she's out and about. Even without telling others, it's a fact that becomes obvious to most the longer people know her, to the point even Yuya knows to buy her cute plush toys anytime he thinks of a gift.

Personality

Unfortunately, she also has something of a short temper, and snaps at people whenever it's triggered. Being protective to a fault doesn't help with that, as she'll put herself in danger to protect or defend without a second thought, and arms herself with a large paper fan for smacking those she believes deserves it. This is a part of her personality she'll throughly deny, as well, refusing to accept or own up to the fact she can be rather bossy from time to time. It might help keep her father and Yuya both in line, but she still occasionally loses track of limits, and later regrets those actions made when she does.

Her temper and kindness eventually meld together and smooth out over the course of events in canon, and by the time of her rebirth, she's grown some and learned to keep her fan still a bit more often. Every bit a big sister to those younger than her, she tries to make sure they follow the Sakaki motto of 'Smile', and keep one on her own lips while trying to guide the next generation, as well.

In the manga, Yuzu is far more stubborn and bold, as well as being more money-focused than her anime counterpart, rarely, if ever, taking no for an answer in getting herself entangled in the Phantom's fight.

Abilities

She's also quite strong, and while she doesn't nessecarially like to fight, she can deal a fair bit of pain with both a punch and her fan. She's been guilty of breaking You Show's Solid Vision system at least once by hitting it, though its old age may have had something to do with it's breaking, and often leaves marks on Yuya through hitting him with her fan, at the very least.

Yuzu is a rather decent singer, but her musical strengths lie in playing the piano. She may not play often, nor is she still in lessons, but she knows enough to follow sheet music and play along with others, and often finds herself lost in the tune. To her, it's something like Dueltaining - following the beat and staying on top of the notes.

She's also a capable duelist, playing a Melodious deck focusing largely on special summoning and swarming the field until she's able to fusion summon her ace, Bloom Diva the Melodious Choir.

Biography

Unfortunately, she's dragged into the fighting between dimensions when she's found first by Yuto, then Sora and Serena, and finally Yuri, trying her hardest to escape and flee between the four different dimensions. Doing so allows her to grow and mature, but also to learn the truth after being finally kidnapped and brainwashed by Academia: She is only a quarter of Ray, and her life, as well of the three girls who look like her also in captivity, were to be forefit to revive Ray.

Despite the fight and her spirit breaking through to connect with and rescue Yuya's from Zarc's control, Yuzu is reborn some time later, her counterparts residing within her conciousness much like the boys'. Her life is now a strugle to find a balance between trying to be a normal student, her relationship with her best friend, and sharing her body with her counterparts - A struggle definitely easier said than done!

Appearance

Her hair is a dark violet, nearing black, and when allowed loose, falls to about her ankles. Despite so, she prefers to keep her hair tied up, folding it into a floppy, loose almost-bun at the back of her neck pinned in place with a light blue birdwing pin while the rest hangs loose underneath and falls to the back of her thighs. Framing her face are two smaller strands of lighter purple hair, reaching to just bellow her bust, while her bangs, starting about the center, sweep off to the side above her left eye with a small section hanging sllightly lower between her eyes. Her eyes are a vibrant magenta.

Ruri's wardrobe is one formed from nessecity after the war begins in Heartland, a style that sticks with her even after its end. While she loves long and flowing skirts and previous called a simple yellow dress her favorite, her most common outfit is that of a cream-colored vest over a grey-purple short sleeved dress, the bottom of which has been cut into three far more flowing pieces, and darker grey pants. Her shoes are calf-high brown boots, the shade matching the two belts around her waist, and she wears a long, red, almost scarf-like piece of fabric on her hip to match her brother and Yuto as a resistance member.

Matching her love of birds, she wears light blue wing-themed accessories, including large dangling earrings and a matching pin in her hair where it folds. Aside from this, up until she all but fuses into Yuzu, she rarely ever takes off her bracelet, a simple silver band with two wings framing a small, diamond shaped yellow gem.

Ruri can often be found with a duel disk strapped to her left arm, as well.

Interests

Like her Standard counterpart, she also loves music, though her tastes lie more in soundscapes and intrumentals. She's memorized the songs of various local birds and tends to whistle them when she's alone and in a good mood, and even tries to recrate them on the violin, an instrument she learned to play as a child.

Above all else, Ruri loves to go around and make people smile, as doing so not only makes her smile, but fulfils her desire to make a world of happy, smiling people. Be it through her dueling or simply by being kind, she'll do all she can to lift others' spirits, hoping to heal her broken homeland through their power.

Personality

Selfless in her bravery, she'll never hesitate if it means protecting someone, and has more than once thrown herself into danger to shield another Heartland native from harm. A hatred of war and needless pain further drives her selflessness, desiring nothing more than to find an end to the fighting and come out with as few casualties as possible. Even if she makes sure her deck is as at the top of its game, she'll rarely actually fight herself, and prefers to play the role of support to others.

When given the chance to be at peace, Ruri is the 'mom friend', taking care of others - Including her coutnerparts. Logical in her thinking, she tries to make the best of everything and look on the brighter side of it all, preferring to focus on things that'll make them smile rather than frown. Above that, though, she's the one who always makes herself available to vent and talk to, serving as something of a counselor to the others. If it help ease their troubles... She's definitely all for it.

Abilities

Her love of birds and their songs has led to her learning to play violin, and she regularly attended lessons until Academia's invasion of her dimension. Like Yuzu, she's not incredibly good, but enough so to play with others, and string together and mimic bird songs through her playing.

She's good with animals and kids, and at any given time can be found making more bird-based friends simply by feeding them and sitting around to talk to them. She's long since gotten used to their small feet perched on her fingers and shoulders, and won't hesitate to say hello to one that lands on her.

Ruri is a fairly good duelist, as well, running a Lyrilusc deck designed to both swarm and strengthen based on her XYZ summons. Unlike her counterparts, though she holds sour feelings toward the Fusion Dimension as a whole she holds little towards the summoning method itself, and keeps hers still in her deck.

Biography

While residing within Yuzu's conciousness, Ruri is the most upbeat and kind soul, making sure her counterparts and live in peace and harmony.

Appearance

Her hair is a mint green shade, and while worn loose, is cut into a fluffy, wind-swept bob. Framing her face are two smaller strands of lighter apple green hair, falling to about chin-length, while her bangs have a section falling between her eyes, as well as two windblown sections sweeping off to either side and just past her ears. Her eyes are a warm honey brown.

Rin generally tries to keep her clothes relatively well-fitting, so as to avoid them getting caught in anything mechanical, and in bright colors. Her favorite is a white and light blue long sleeved jacket with pink shoulders, short pink shorts with a black belt, and thigh-high loose fitting white boots with pink details. While riding around on the D-Wheel she built with Yugo, she switches to a simple white and pink riding suit.

Aside from the black choker she usually has around her neck, bearing a dark blue stacking of three small gems resembling a bell, and her matching stud earrings, until her all but fusion with Yuzu, she also wears a thick silver bracelet with a swirling design to it. Set into the center of the bracelet's swirled design is a small green gem.

Rin can often be found with a duel disk strapped to her left arm.

Interests

In a world where speed is the name of the game, she's also very much into D-Wheels, and her own is custom built. Co-owned with Yugo, it's her pride and joy, and on sleepless nights Rin can easily be found in the garage, working on tuning it or simply imagining racing. One of her favorite things is riding around the city, even, simply to feel the breeze and speed, and the hum of the bike beneath her.

Like her counterparts, dueling is very much a central point in her life, and Rin's spent many hours just fne-tuning her deck. It's an interest that helps keeps her on her toes and feeling protected, and without a wrench or Yugo nearby, she'll go for her Windwitches and fists to protect herself. She loves to collect the cards, as well, and keeps a small box of the ones she manages to get underneath her bed in the orphanage - A box she later has Yuzu return to get for her, and stashes under the Standard native's desk.

Personality

On the flip side of things, she's also tender with loved ones, speaking gently and rarely hesitating. She won't hesitate to huff and scold, however, easily seen with Yugo's impulsive nature and her frequent ear tugs and hits to keep him in line, but she'll always stop before doing any real harm, and never turning her hand against anyone she knows can't handle it or doesn't deserve it. Despite being bold and outgoing, Rin prefers to see those around her happy, and finds herself most at ease when they are.

Unfortunately, Rin's stubbornness and life further leads her to be something of a realist, finding some truths and twists harder to swallow than others, like her status as a quarter of Ray and Yugo's being a part of Zarc. Unlike her counterparts, she's the one who thinks on it the most, questioning her role and life after being raised as a normal kid. Regardless of her attempts to hide it behind a smile and stubbornness, she can't for long, and slowly lets it overwhelm her, working its way free (with help from friends) until she's able to return to her usual smile.

Abilities

As a mechanic, Rin is able to work on D-Wheels with ease, usually finding no problem in finding the source of most issues and taking care of them. Alongside Yugo, she built their D-Wheel from scratch, and as such knows simply from the sound of the engine if something's wrong an where to start looking.

Perhaps due to her ease in riding their bike, she has the same ease and lack of fear in riding her monsters, balancing herself on their backs and staves like surfboards to take to the air. She enjoys the feeling of the wind on her skin and in her hair, and rarely likes traveling without the speed they provide.

Rin had a fair bit of physical strength, honed out of a desire to protect herself and those she loves. Her fighting falls mainly to dueling, but if need be she has no problem hitting someone with a wrench, or hitting them, as seen with her constant attempts to keep Yugo in line.

She's an incredibly capable duelist, able to beat Yugo without much problem every time with her Windwitches. This is where her true strength lies: Within the icy heart of her Windwitch - Winter Bell.

Biography

Rin is the boldest of the counterparts, though of late has found herself questioning both her very existence, and the situation she's been handed. At least she can find comfort in Ruri and Yugo...

Appearance

Her hair is a rich shade of indigo, falling to about mid-back when loose. However, she prefers to keep it tied up in a high ponytail bound by a large yellow ribbon, the ends of her hair falling to about mid-neck. Framing her face are two thin sections of a medium blue shade, falling to about the tops of her shoulders, and her bangs are split into three distinct sections, one hanging down between her eyes while the other two fan out to lay on either side of them. Her eyes are a bright emerald green.

Serena tends to wear a slightly modified version of Academia's red uniform more often than not, but has a fondness for well fitting citizen attire, as well. Her favorite is a sleeveless white turtleneck topped by a artially unzipped black vest, a waist-length red jacket with her sleeves rolled up to nearly her elbows, and a slate grey skirt falling to about her mid-thighs. She finished the outfit with red accented dark grey boots and a wide brown belt bearing a large golden buckle.

Though she doesn't often do accessories of any kind, until her all but fusion with Yuzu, she too wears a silver bracelet. However, hers is of a simple bangle design, connecting to a smaller ring with another yet smaller in the center containing a vibrant, multi-point star shaped purple gem, the design allowing it to rotate within its casing.

She can usually be found with a duel disk strapped to her left arm.

Interests

Like her counterparts, she's a fierce duelist, and enjoys keeping her deck as top-shape as she keeps herself. Though she initially desired to prove herself to Leo, she comes to simply enjoy dueling over time not for its worth as a soldier's weapon, but for fun, Yuya's influence changing her views on it as a whole. Still, it never quite helps her shed her need to be serious, even if she does learn to loosen up a bit.

With her life reclaimed as her own despite her merging into Yuzu, Serena finds and interest in movies and adventuring, and a combination of the two in adventure movies. Regardless of if she can get out and take part in one or the other herself, she'll occasionally urge Yuzu to do so for her, so she can listen or watch along with a friend.

She also later comes to enjoy entertainment dueling, and watches her friends duel whenever possible to learn more about he style in general.

Personality

Strategic to a fault, she tends to weigh her options in duels, something that doesn't often extend to her life as a whole until the war's end. Consistency is key, and she'll go for tried and true methods she knows works rather than attempt something new, if the option is available to her. Like many of her comrades in Academia, she's just as stubborn, and won't back down without having ther error of her ways forcibly shoved into her face on most occasions.

Though she's impatient and reckless, Serena is also incredibly loyal. While she may have little in the way of social skills, she won't ever leave a comrade's side if she can help it, choosing to protect those she holds dear rather than leave them on their own. Actually getting her to admit to caring for others, on the other hand, is a different story entirely!

Due to being raised within Academia's walls, there's many times she simply doesn't understand how things work, let alone what's right to do and what's wrong. This leads to some interesting scenarios, and none of which she ever wants to think of again.

Abilities

Her training also gives her a fair bit of strength, though it's not something she displays often.

Biography

Frustrated and determined, Serena wastes little time in sneaking out of the dimension as a whole with her current bodyguard by her side. Unfortunately, she's little prepared for the truth of what she finds...

Now, Serena's learning how to calm herself down, though is easily the loudest and most active of the counterparts living within Yuzu. Freed from Academia's influence, there's this thing called Dueltaining she's kind of wanting to check out-

Appearance

Her hair is a dark shade of maroon, highlighted in her bangs and framing her fac with small sections of dark red. While falling to about her waist when left loose, Ray prefers to keep it tied up into pigtails instead, the ends of which fall to just bellow her shoulderblades and tied up with pale patel green ribbons. Two thin sections fall on either side of her face and lay against the front of her shoulders, reaching about the top of her chest, and her bangs are separated into two distinct sections, the longer of which sweeps over above her left eye while the other shoter side sits abover her right.

Like many in the original dimension, Ray prefers clothing that fits her well, though isn't too snug, regardless. Her favorite and most worn outfit is a mid-thigh length dress in light blue with a wide stripe of light putple down the middle of the front, matching the collar, and long white sleeves. She finished the outfit with a pair of white tights with light purple stripes across the front of her thighs and just below her knees, matching a pair of ankle-high boots with purple accents - An outfit that mimics that of the riding suit her Synchro fragment would later wear.

She accessorizes with a rich brown thigh strap on her left leg, holding a pouch large enough for her deck and duel disk, if said disk isn't strapped to her left arm already, and her favorite accessory: A pair of pink goggle-style sunglasses.

Interests

Her deck isn't the only time nature catches her attention, and she can be often found roaming the local zoos and nature centers when she has time to herself. There's something about being among nature that calms her and helps clear her head, and on her worst days it's where she'll go to calm down and make herself feel better. It's enough she's held jobs at several of the centers as a teen, before her professional carrer took off.

Ray also loves a good challenge, and often goes seeking it out, be it from a new hoby or simply by pestering Zarc. Racing, rock climbing, hiking, high school debate team... It doesn't matter what it is, if she can get a challenge out of it, she'll likely do it. Within reason, of course - She's not about to get herself hurt!

Personality

All the same, she's also focused and determined, and once her mind is put to something, there's little that can change it. It's this side of her that's driven to become a professional duelist and quickly rises to the top of her class, putting her everything into retaining her spot while making sure she has fun with it. It's rare she isn't dueling with a light shining her eyes regardless of her smile being present or not.

Despite her kindness, Ray isn't afraid to be outspoken and let you know exactly what's on her mind. Though she prefers to see others happy and smiling, she's not above doing things her way on her time, and will simply walk out if she's not enjoying herself, or doesn't like something. Likewise, she'll let you know what's on her mind - Though to her credit, Ray won't stoop to insulting people for fun, Zarc not included. As headstrong as she is, she refuses to hurt others.

Her attitude is far more brash and bold around Zarc, and sees her more low-key insulting and acting far more bothered than normal. He alone she'll ignore - But then Zarc isn't like most, either...

Abilities

She has a fairly decent amount of strength and endurance, and regularly does things to test those limits, like climbing rocks walls and cliffs, and racing. She's even taken to running a mile at least three times a week in the mornings, largely to keep herself in shape.

Though it's not as fine-tuned as Zarc's seems to be, Ray holds the ability to hear the voices of duel monsters. This is an ability that's only realized while watching Zarc fuse with his dragons, their cries strong and loud enough for her to hear clearly. It's unknown if she can actually communicate with them, but it does take a loud cry for her to really hear them.

Biography
